The sages say when the disciple is ready the master comes. In this vibratory world like attracts like. It is the disciple’s earnestness and preparedness that is like a blossom that attracts not flies but honeybees. A great Himalayan master said false and unprepared teachers are like hedges of a flower garden. The unprepared disciples get caught in the hedges and are deprived entry to flower garden. Since Vedic times Truth is passed on through Guru-disciple succession. As the disciple prepares the wicks and oil Guru comes to light the lamp that is how the flowering of enlightenment happens through sharing of responsibilities between Guru and disciple.
