Ego is needed or else how would you function? But if a person gets totally identified with the ego then how would he know that God exists! As long as you consciously allow your ego to touch the lotus feet of the Lord, you are safe, for then gradually the Lord transforms it and divinizes the person in His own image and creates the miracle of an enlightened Master
