With the help of Jewar Airport, the path has been cleared for Noida to get the gift of heliport. In a recent meeting a detailed project report, bid document and concession agreement report related to Noida Heliport have been approved. All reports are also being sent to the Finance Department. Whichever company will be selected will operate the heliport for 30 years. If the land for the heliport will belong to the Noida Authority, then the investment will be done by a private company. The authority will also have a share in this earning. Helicopter giant Pawan Hans is also showing interest in this. There is a preparation to be built in Sector 151A near the heliport golf ground. Soon, helicopter service will start from here for two major IGI Airport and Jewar Airport and about 36 cities. Bell 412 and Mi 172 design helicopters will start flying from Noida.

Entry and exit gates will be built towards Dayanatpur village

According to the master plan of Jewar Airport, the entry and exit gates to be made for entering and exiting the airport will be in the same direction. These gates will be built towards village Dayanatpur. This will be the first airport in the country to have entry and exit gates on the same side. Whereas usually the entry and exit gates of the airport are kept separately.

IGI and Jewar Airport will be connected with super fast metro rail

Work is underway to connect the Jewar International Airport to Shivaji Park Stadium with the Super Fast Metro Rail Corridor. A major reason behind this is that the Shivaji Park Stadium metro station is already the station of the dedicated metro corridor built for the IGI airport. From there, this line coming up to Greater Noida Knowledge Park-2 will connect Jewar International Airport with Delhi Airport.

A new corridor will be built to bring fast metro from Shivaji Park metro station to Knowledge Park-2 in Greater Noida or the project will be completed using the existing Delhi Metro and Aqua Line Metro corridors. Experts say that however this possibility will be explored during the DPR. But it will not be possible to run a fast metro train using the Aqua Line.
