Sin is that which convinces me about the power of my incapacities and vulnerability to all weakness of mind. Virtue is that which convinces me that god made me in his image and hence impossibility is not in my mental dictionary. The test of true religious practice is to make sure that you are not becoming weaker, dependent and susceptible to things that are not within your control. Slavery is atheism and freedom from fear is theism. Don’t make god a scapegoat!
