He said, ‘If Rani Laxmibai had resources and modern weapons at par with the British, then the history of the country’s independence might have been different. Our government has started the admission of daughters in Sainik Schools. In 33 Sainik Schools, the admission of girls students has also started from this session. Daughters like Rani Laxmibai will also emerge from Sainik Schools, who will take the responsibility of defense, security, development of the country on their shoulders.
PM Modi said, ‘Today, on the one hand the strength of our forces is increasing, at the same time the land is also being prepared for the youth who are capable of protecting the country in future. These 100 Sainik Schools, which will be started, will work in the coming times to give the future of the country in powerful hands. I would also like to remember another son of Jhansi, Major Dhyan Chand ji, who gave recognition to the sports world of India in the world. Not long ago, our government has announced that the country’s Khel Ratna Awards will be named after Major Dhyanchand ji.
The Prime Minister said, this land has also been a witness to the valor and military prowess of Veerangana Jhalkari Bai, who was an integral ally of Rani Laxmibai. I also bow at the feet of that immortal heroine of the freedom struggle of 1857, pay my tributes.I bow to the Chandelas-Bundelas, who wrote immortal tales of Indian valor and culture from this earth, who made India proud. I bow to the pride of Bundelkhand, those brave Alha-Udals, who are still a symbol of sacrifice and sacrifice for the protection of mother-land.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the NCC Alumni Association to give a platform to the NCC alumni to re-connect with the organization. This association will further the objectives of NCC and help in nation building. Prime Minister Narendra Modi first took its membership in the country as a former NCC cadet.
The Prime Minister launched the National Program of Training aimed at augmenting the simulation training facilities for all the three units of the NCC. This includes installation of rifle firing simulators for the military unit of the NCC, microlight flying simulators for the air wing and rowing simulators for the naval wing.
According to the program released by the PMO, PM Modi will hand over the indigenously designed and developed Light Combat Helicopters, Drones and Advanced Electronic Warfare Suites for Naval Ships to the Armed Forces Service Chiefs in Jhansi.
Simultaneously, PM Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of a Rs 400 crore project in the Jhansi section of the Uttar Pradesh Defense Industrial Corridor to produce propulsion systems for anti-tank guided missiles. Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, UP Governor Anandiben Patel, CM Yogi Adityanath, CDS General Bipin Rawat and Chiefs of the three services were present in this program.
