A choreographer may have another person dance; in that case, the dancer is seeing and following the choreographer. But the dancer herself could also choreograph; in that case choreographer, dancer and dance is one. In the initial phase of sadhana, we may start with a dualistic perception of a separate god (or guru) and the self. But as we surrender, trust the choreographer (god), we grow into mastery and a day comes when the self merges in God and guru. From dualistic (dwaita) to non-dual adwaita reality. This is self-realization.
Om Guru!
